Objective: In the context of the European Thematic Network for Doctoral Education in Computing, the University of Cyprus is organizing the Summer School on Intelligent Systems in July 2-6, 2007. The workshop will cover recent advances in intelligent systems theory and applications. Topics in AI, Computational Intelligence and Data Mining will be covered, together with successful applications in information systems, signal and image processing, networking, software engineering, finance, defense, and computational biology systems. Moreover, special student sessions will be organized, where PhD students will present and discuss their research work.
